Majlis sessions are held primarily at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. On selected occasions, sessions are held at other locations.

Session topics cover society, values, and traditions; education and lifelong learning; the future of health and wellbeing; innovation and technology; sustainability, nature, and food security; culture, heritage, and the arts; global leadership and strategic influence; and personal growth and resilience.
